Inyiak Coffee is a tiger-friendly coffee initiative developed with farmers in Kampung Harimau (Tiger Village). Hutan Harimau supports local farmers to grow coffee in their home gardens and agroforestry systems, creating sustainable livelihoods while maintaining tree cover and wildlife-friendly landscapes around tiger habitat.
Our role is to support farmers through capacity building, sustainable coffee production, product development, branding, and market access. Most importantly, we connect local farmers directly with buyers and responsible markets, helping them reach consumers who value quality, community livelihoods, and conservation. By developing and marketing Inyiak Coffee as a tiger-friendly product, we aim to increase the value of locally produced coffee while creating incentives for communities to protect forests and coexist with Sumatran tigers.
Every cup of Inyiak Coffee connects farmers, buyers, forests, and tiger conservation—turning coffee from village gardens and agroforestry systems into an opportunity for both people and wildlife.
